Increasing COVID-19 cases in China could cause temporary labor shortages and increased supply chain disruptions with the country's manufacturing activity falling at the sharpest pace since the pandemic first emerged three years ago, Hellenic Shipping News Worldwide reported citing Reuters. Weakening external demand on the back of growing global recession fears, inflation and the Ukraine war may further slow China’s exports.
