Rising interest rates continue to affect insurers in Southeast Asia

Brandon Bruce, ASEAN insurance leader at consulting firm Ernst & Young L.L.P., said that growing interest rates and rising inflation will continue to affect insurers in Southeast Asia this year, Asia Insurance Review reported. Insurers will also continue to have to deal with regulatory and financial reporting changes apart from rising interest rates, which could affect premium income growth this year.
