Bonnie Boone joins JP West

Bonnie Boone, a long-time brokerage executive and leader of diversity efforts in the insurance sector, has joined New York-based brokerage J.P. West Inc. as executive vice president and partner.
Ms. Boone, who is based in the Chicago area, most recently was executive vice president, health care, at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Previously, she held senior positions at Marsh LLC, Alliant Insurance Services Inc. and Willis Towers Watson PLC, among other companies.
J.P. West, a privately held brokerage founded by CEO and President Eileen Frank in 2000, specializes in placing insurance for municipalities, commercial companies and nonprofits. Ms. Boone said her responsibilities include broadening the company’s client base and strategy.
Ms. Boone was one of the 2008 Business Insurance Women to Watch and in 2015, to mark the 10th anniversary of the program, was presented with an Impact Award by the publication for her exceptional contributions to diversity and inclusion in insurance.
In 2021, Ms. Boone was named one the 100 most influential African American leaders in business by the National Diversity Council.
In addition, J.P. West named Traci Adedeji as vice president of personal lines. Most recently, she was an underwriting manager at Automobile Insurance Plans Service Office in Johnston, Rhode Island.
