Semiconductor shortage named biggest supply chain risk

A survey by Netherlands-based online platform Hubs BV said that one of the biggest supply chain risks of 2023 is a worsening of the global semiconductor shortage, DC Velocity reported. The survey of manufacturing industry professionals found that 77% of companies experienced some form of external disruption to their supply chain over the past year and the top cause of that disruption was material shortages, followed by COVID-19 and transportation issue.
