Port workers' strike in Portugal disrupt operations

An ongoing strike by workers at the ports of mainland Portugal, Madeira and the Azores has blocked and paralyzed the import and export of goods, Macau News Agency reported. The National Union of Workers of Port Administrations' multi-day strike over pay negotiations began on Dec. 22 and is slated to run until Jan. 30, 2023.
