Premiums to further rise in Australia

Steve Mickenbecker, insurance expert at financial comparison site Canstar Pty Ltd., said that property insurance premiums increased by 6.6% from September 2021 to August 2022 in Australia and predicts further increases next year, 9News reports. Mr. Mickenbecker has flagged western Sydney and northern Victoria among the areas most at risk and will see some rises because the floods were so widespread.
