Apple workers' strike affects store operations in Australia

A strike by employees of Apple Inc. across Australia on Dec. 23 through Dec. 24 has mainly affected operations of the iPhone maker's stores in Brisbane, Adelaide and Newcastle, Daily Mail reports. The workers, represented by the Retail and Fast Food Workers Union, were demanded better working conditions like fixed schedules and hours, two-day weekends and a wage increase.
