Fire at Shell's LNG facility to disrupt gas supplies to Asia

Royal Dutch Shell PLC has temporarily suspended production at a floating Prelude liquefied natural gas facility off the west coast of Australia after a fire broke out, tightening fuel supplies to Asia just as winter demand from customers hits its peak, Yahoo reports citing Bloomberg. The outage on Dec. 21 comes after Prelude resumed loading recently following two months of maintenance.
