Supply chain issues force Volkswagen to cut production

German carmaker Volkswagen AG is planning to cut production and reduce the number of shifts at its main factory in Wolfsburg, Germany in January 2023 as the COVID-19 pandemic and the Ukraine war continue disrupting the supply chain, Investing.com reports citing Reuters. The work stoppage will affect Golf and other car production from Jan. 9 through Jan. 27.
