Catastrophe tops list of risks for cedents for 2023

Tom Johansmeyer, head of U.S.-based Property Claim Services Inc., said that catastrophe risks top the list of risks that cedents should be keeping in mind for 2023, Reinsurance News reports. Mr. Johansmeyer added that political violence, the conflict in Ukraine and aviation losses in Russia should not be ignored and combined losses from those events could potentially reach up to $30 billion.
