Damage from New South Wales floods to surpass $267 million

The government of New South Wales said that damage from recent floods in the state is already more than $400 million Australian ($267 million) and is likely to go much higher, with significant losses for farming communities, ABC News reported. Damage to infrastructure such as fencing, roads and farm equipment totaled AUD84 million to date, while crop losses accounted for AUD250 million.
