Patriot Growth buys Connecticut-based agency

Patriot Growth Insurance Services said Wednesday it has bought Enfield, Connecticut-based agency Koverage Insurance Group LLC.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Koverage, with 27 employees, provides commercial property/casualty insurance, personal lines coverage and employee benefits programs in more than 25 states and is led by CEO Michael DiLorenzo and Joseph Galiatsatos, principal agent and chief information officer.

Koverage has 10 offices, eight in Connecticut, one in Jupiter, Florida, and one in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, according to its website.

Patriot is the 35th-largest broker of U.S. business, according to the most recent Business Insurance rankings.
