Luis Fernando Helguero, Peru's minister of foreign trade and tourism, said that the country's agriculture sector is losing an estimated $100 million a day due to the riots over the impeachment of the country’s former president, Fresh Plaza reports. The country's multibillion-dollar table grape and blueberry industries are suffering amid a 30-day national state of emergency as producers are unable to reach key production areas, partly due to roadblocks.
