Q3 premiums increase 16% in Georgia

Data from the Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia showed that local insurers’ aggregate gross written premium increased by 16% year-on-year to over 704 million Georgian lari ($266 million) in the third quarter of the year, Xprimm reported. The nonlife segment, which accounts for over 92% of the gross written premium portfolio, saw premiums increased to over GEL649 million.
