Hawaii health plan to allow workers to switch from Kaiser as strike continues
Posted On: Dec. 7, 2022 9:55 AM CSTThe board of trustees of the Hawaii Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund voted to allow state workers who have health insurance with strike-plagued Kaiser Permanente to change insurance coverage, reports the Honolulu Civil Beat. State and county workers and teachers currently covered by Kaiser Permanente will be able to change to the Hawaii Medical Service Association if they report difficulty in accessing Kaiser mental and behavioral health services.
