Hub buys California-based broker

Hub International Ltd. on Wednesday said it acquired Invensure Insurance Brokers Inc.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Irvine, California-based Invensure offers commercial and personal insurance services, employee benefits and human resources consulting, a statement said.

Robert Parent, Invensure CEO, and Charlene Richards, executive vice president, and the Invensure team will join Hub Los Angeles in Orange County, the statement said.

MarshBerry served as financial adviser to Invensure for the transaction.

Hub is the seventh-largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance's most recent ranking.
