CRC Group appoints executives for MGA

CRC Group Inc. on Tuesday named Keith Allred president of Tapco Underwriters Inc., its managing general agent division, effective Jan. 1, 2023.

He succeeds Bill Pinson, who died earlier this year, the specialty intermediary said.

Mr. Allred, based in Burlington, North Carolina, was previously vice president of Tapco. He will report to West McAdams, president of binding.

Virginia Clancy was also named chief underwriting officer of Tapco, effective Jan. 1, in a newly created role.

Ms. Clancy was previously vice president and will continue to lead the Florida region while taking on additional duties, CRC said.

She will report to Mr. Allred and will continue to be based in Clearwater, Florida.
