Mental health provider numbers not keeping up with employer demand: KFF

While employers have prioritized providing mental health resources, just 44% have enough providers available in their health plans to employees with more complex mental health needs, according to a Kaiser Family Foundations employer survey, reports Employee Benefit News. That means that many employees are left with expensive out-of-network providers or must rely on telehealth options that may not adequately cover the scope of mental health.
