Marsh McLennan Agency acquires agency in Washington state

Marsh McLennan Agency, a unit of Marsh LLC, said Thursday it has bought McDonald Zaring Insurance, an agency based in Walla Walla, Washington.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1932, McDonald Zaring places coverage for individuals and businesses across various industries, including agribusiness, wineries, financial institutions, health clinics and contractors.

McDonald Zaring has 19 employees, all of whom will be joining MMA at a newly created office in Walla Walla.  Agency leaders Shaun Borth, David Borth and Kevin Baffney will be sales executives with MMA.
