AHIP poll finds broad support for maintaining telehealth access

A recent survey conducted by trade group America's Health Insurance Plans found that a majority of Americans want the government to keep the telehealth flexibilities enacted during the COVID-19 pandemic, reports mHealth Intelligence. In 2020, the number of people using telehealth increased dramatically, largely due to the withdrawal of various regulatory restrictions as well as the new barriers imposed on in-person care by the COVID-19 pandemic.
