Ransomware gang that breached Australian health insurer Medibank Private Ltd.’s system and stole medical records and personal information of 9.7 million customers in October, has now released the entire stolen data on dark web, marking it as “case closed,” The Guardian reported. The data dump comes weeks after Medibank refused to pay a $15 million Australian ($10 million) ransom to the hackers.
