Non-life insurers' profitability to be challenged significantly

A report by Swiss Re Institute said that global non-life insurance profitability will be challenged significantly this year by weakness in both underwriting performance and investment results, Reinsurance News reported. Macroeconomic headwinds will affect advanced markets the most, though it expects advanced Europe, Middle East and Africa region to perform worst in 2022 and 2023.
