Insurer’s premiums increase by 4% to $4.5 billion

Poland-based insurer PZU Group’s gross written premiums increased by more than 4% year-on-year to above 19 billion Polish zloty ($4.2 billion) in the first nine months of the year, driven by nonlife insurance business, Xprimm reported. Net profits dropped by almost 10% to approximately PLN2 billion.
