Ardonagh Group acquires Australian insurer for $322 million

U.K.-based insurance broker The Ardonagh Group Ltd.’s Australian unit has acquired Australian insurer Envest Pty Ltd. for $482 million Australian ($322 million), The Irish Times reported. Envest will operate as part of Ardonagh Global Partners. The transaction will cover the acquisition of Envest businesses, including insurance brokerage Aviso Group.
