ACA enrollment on pace to set new record this year

Enrollment in Affordable Care Act marketplaces is on pace to set a record this year, with subsidies that Congress renewed through 2025 softening the blow of premium increases, according to Health and Human Services Administration Secretary Xavier Becerra, Axios reports. Between from Nov. 1 to 19, 3.4 million people signed up for individual coverage, which is a 17% increase from last year, according to HHS data, the report says. The number of new enrollees is also up 40%.
