Germany extends state guarantee for terror insurer by two years

Germany’s Finance Ministry has decided to extend the state guarantee for terror insurer Extremus Versicherungs AG by another two years through Dec. 31, 2024, AssCompact reported. Extremus provides an annual capacity of €2.52 billion ($2.6 billion) for losses from acts of terrorism while the state guarantee offers another €5.98 billion per year.
