Trade credit insurance claims stabilize partly

A report by the Berne Union, a U.K.-based international association of export credit insurers, said that claims paid by public and private trade credit insurers partly stabilized in the first half of the year after record-high payouts in 2021, Global Trade Review reported. Short-term claims dropped 10% year-on-year to $900 million, while medium and long-term claims dropped 4% to nearly $2 billion in the first half of the year.
