D&O insurance market softens

A report by U.K.-based Aon PLC showed that the Canadian directors and officers liability insurance market is showing signs of softening, as prices fell and capacity expanded in the third quarter of the year, Canadian Underwriter reported. The market transition was more visible in the excess layers segment and for public companies in the third quarter, and the market is expected to soften further.
