Premium income more than doubles in first nine months

Data from Turkey’s insurance association shows that local insurers’ total premium income increased 108% year-on-year to nearly 147 billion Turkish lira ($7.9 billion) in the first nine months of the year, Middle East Insurance Review reported citing Insurance Gazette. Total nonlife insurance premium income reached TRY126.4 billion.
