UK’s MGA completes acquisition of specialist underwriting agency

U.K.-based managing general agent Iprism Underwriting Agency Ltd. has completed the acquisition of specialist underwriting agency Metier Underwriting, which works with Lloyd’s of London and the London Market to offer underwriting services, Verdict reported. Metier Underwriting caters to hard-to-place contractor liabilities in the construction sector and also offers underwriting for leisure, events and security industries.
