Coal train derailment is costing South Africa $58 million a day

South African rail transport company Transnet Freight Rail is investigating possible sabotage in a recent coal train derailment incident that is costing the South African economy around 1 billion South African rand ($58 million) a day, My Broadband reported citing the Sunday Times. The derailment near Ulundi in KwaZulu-Natal on Nov. 8, which left several coal wagons damaged, happened a day after Transnet employees received threats.
