Universities lean on DC benefit plans in competition for talent

Eighty-nine percent of universities are using their employee benefits program to help attract and retain high-quality employees, according to a survey of retirement plan decision-makers in higher education, reports BenefitsPro. The survey by Voya Financial found that defined contribution plans are the most important benefit for attracting talent; 90% of respondents said a DC retirement plan is important to attract talent and 87% said it helps retain high-quality employees.
