Scor posts net loss of $508 million amid high nat cat claims

French reinsurer Scor SE posted a net loss of €509 million ($508 million) in the first nine months of the year, as its natural catastrophe claims reached €907 million after losses from Hurricane Ian and convective storms in France, Reinsurance News reported. The reinsurer recorded almost 16% year-on-year growth in gross written premiums.
