Swiss Re calls for development of cyber ILS marketplace

Switzerland-based Swiss Reinsurance Co. Ltd. has reiterated its call for the development of a cyber insurance-linked securities marketplace while also advising that insurers need to take a different approach to cyber risk underwriting as risks evolve, Artemis reported. According to the reinsurer, cyber risk models need further improvements to quantify the risks accurately and reduce uncertainty for underwriters.
