Factory fires remain top reason for supply chain disruptions

A report by U.S.-based supply chain monitoring firm Resilinc Corp. said that factory fires were the leading cause of global supply chain disruptions in the first three quarters of the year, Manufacturing Business Technology reported. Resilinc raised 2,889 factory fires alerts through the third quarter this year, which reflects nearly 1,000 more incidents than the total fire events in all of 2021.
