Avolon sues insurers over jets stuck in Russia

Aircraft lessor Avolon’s subsidiary, Avolon Aerospace (Hamilton) AOE 1 Ltd. has reportedly sued Lloyd’s of London and some other insurers in the Irish High Court over aircraft losses related to the Russia-Ukraine war, Verdict reported. Avolon has 10 jets trapped in Russia following sanctions triggered by the war in Ukraine, leading to over $300 million in losses.
