Financial risks top list of challenges for African nations

A survey of insurance professionals by Nigeria-based Continental Reinsurance PLC found that financial risks, including currency depreciation and inflation, will top the list of challenges for 54 African economies in the year ahead, followed by climate change risk, Middle East Insurance Review reports. Nigeria, South Africa and Zimbabwe are the three countries most at risk from these threats.
