The International Organisation of Vine and Wine said that the $300 billion global wine industry is taking a hit from the climate change and the war between Russia and Ukraine, Reuters reported. Global sales and production of wine have been affected by poor weather conditions in major wine producing regions like Italy, France and Spain. Meanwhile, the Russia-Ukraine war is causing supply chain disruptions, while energy crisis and inflation are affecting consumer demand.
