Perils pegs final insured loss estimates for October floods at $623 million

Swiss catastrophe data provider Perils AG has pegged its final insured loss estimates for the severe storms that pummelled southern Australia in October 2021, at $972 million Australian ($623 million), Reinsurance News reported. The final estimates are below its previous estimate of over AUD 1billion that it issued back in May.
