Barry Callebaut takes $77 million hit from salmonella outbreak at factory

A salmonella outbreak at Switzerland-based chocolate maker Barry Callebaut AG’s its Wieze, Belgium-based factory in June cost the company nearly 77 million Swiss franc ($77 million), Reuters reported. The factory shutdown also impacted the chocolate maker’s sales volumes.
