Corvus partners with Travelers to offer cyber insurance in Europe

Insurtech Corvus Insurance Holdings Inc. said Thursday it is partnering with Travelers Cos. Inc. to offer cyber insurance in Europe.

The Boston-based managing general underwriter said the venture follows the recent opening of the company’s Frankfurt, Germany, office led by Oliver Delvos, head of international at Corvus.

The European expansion, which is subject to regulatory approval, will initially be geared toward businesses with annual revenue of up to €1 billion, and will focus primarily on Germany and Austria, Corvus said in a statement.

Corvus said it plans to open additional offices across the continent.
