Supply chain disruptions may affect EV battery production

A report by S&P Global Mobility said that a fragile supply chain marred by geopolitical tensions could hit the planned expansion of electric vehicle battery production, slowing EV adoption, U.S. News reported citing Reuters. S&P Global added that soaring prices of critical battery metals threaten the profit margins of suppliers and automakers.
