Bridgestone looks to exit Russia amid uncertainty, supply chain issues

Japanese tiremaker Bridgestone Corp. is looking to sell its Russian operations due to ongoing supply chain challenges and continued uncertainty in the market amid the Russia-Ukraine war, Reuters reported. Bridgestone, which has over 1,000 employees in Russia, suspended all manufacturing activities and new investments in the country in March after the war broke out in Ukraine.
