Qatar Insurance posts net profit of $157 million

Insurer Qatar Insurance Co. QSPC posted a net profit of 571 million Qatari rial ($157 million) in the first nine months of the year, Zawya reported. The insurer’s gross written premiums reached QAR7.8 billion, largely driven by the growth in QIC’s Qatar and Middle East and North Africa operations.
