Political unrest cited as major reason for supply chain disruptions

A survey by German software company SAP SE found that one in three business leaders expect current supply chain disruptions to last until the end of summer 2023, with almost 60% of the respondents citing global political unrest as the reason for supply chain issues, SupplyChain Digital reported. Meanwhile, a lack of raw materials and increasing fuel and energy costs were the other most-cited reasons for supply chain woes.
