Climate change remains biggest concern for insurers

A survey by French insurer Axa SA found that climate change continues to be the biggest concern for insurers, Yahoo News reported citing Bloomberg. Meanwhile, geopolitical instability was cited as the second-biggest concern amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, with 77% of the respondents expecting aggravated tensions to increase war risks. Additionally, energy-linked risk has also entered the list of top 10 risks, as Russia cuts gas supplies to Europe.
