Amazon faces $1 billion anti-trust class-action lawsuit in UK

U.S.-based Amazon.com Inc. is facing a $1 billion class-action lawsuit in the U.K. over alleged use of a “secretive and self-favoring algorithm” to abuse its dominant position in e-commerce, CNBC reported. Amazon has been accused of promoting its own products or products from third-party sellers using its order fulfilment and delivery services instead of showing customer actual better-value products.
