Nonlife insurers cut risk exposure to reduce losses

Muhammad Aminuddin, chief executive of nonlife insurer TPL Insurance, said that more nonlife insurers in Pakistan are reducing insurance coverage to limit risk exposure and reduce their losses, Asia Insurance Review reported citing newspaper Dawn. Insurers are looking to increase rates amid surging losses from natural disasters and reinsurance market hardening.
