Taiwanese insurer seeks approval to launch web-only insurance company

Taiwan-based personal and commercial insurance provider CTBC Insurance Co. Ltd. has submitted application to launch a web-only insurance company in Taiwan, Verdict reported citing Taipei Times. The application review process is expected to take around five months and the new company is expected to be launched in the second quarter of 2023, subject to approval.
