Lancashire likely to maintain net property catastrophe footprint

Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer Lancashire Holdings Ltd. said that it is likely to maintain its net property catastrophe footprint, shifting away from the expansion it has been pursuing since 2018, Reinsurance News reported. U.K.-based investment bank Peel Hunt LLP said that rate increases are accelerating and the current hard market may last longer than previously thought.
